6 days / 5 Nights - Discover Trang Province and Koh Sukorn :

Day 1 :

Arrival in Trang by train, bus or plane in the morning. Transfer to the hotel and
check-in. Relax.
Half Day Tour to the huge Sea Cave Tham Lae, where we will enter the caves by
small boats. On the way back to Trang, we will make a stop at Nam Muen Sri,
a small handicraft-village, where you can watch (silk-)weaving, sarongs, etc.
We will also visit a Stingray skin-processing factory.
En route sightseeing in Trang Town back to the hotel.
Overnight in Trang at Thamarin Hotel*** or similar.

Trang Town itself is a lovely provincial center with many good
restaurants, nice parks and a superb nightmarket. Trang is considered
to be one of the cleanest towns in Thailand.

Day 2 :

Full Day Tour: We will leave Trang Town after breakfast and follow the panoramic road through the rainforest Banthat Mountains to reach the Buddhist temple Wat Tham Sumano just over the border with Patthalung Province. This temple is built on different levels in
a cave surrounded by the lush and abundant vegetation of the rainforest.
To relax and for a fresh swim we will stay -after lunch- for some time at one of
Trang’s biggest waterfalls Ton Teh.
Return to the hotel in the afternoon.
Overnight in Trang at Thamarin Hotel*** or similar.

Day 3 :

After check-out in the morning we will leave Trang Town and follow
Trang’s coast-line with its many beaches to reach Hat Chao Mai National Park.
Impressive are the limestone rock-formations and it will be there where will start
our Sea-Canoeing Tour to explore the typical flora and fauna of the mangrove forests.
Paddling through a dark tunnel and underneath idyllic mountain cliffs to brings you to the hidden lagoon of Koh Hong. We will visit the Chao Mai Cave with its stalactities and many
kinds of wild orchid. Climb up to the Toe-Ne Hight “steep rock” to have a beautiful view over this special region.
After Lunch(incl.) we will head for the Tasae Pier to embark our private
boat to Koh Sukorn. Check-in at Sukorn Beach Bungalows.

Day 4 :

To get familiar with this remote and not by many tourists visited island,
we will make a Sukorn Island Tour by motorbike-taxi or pickup truck.
We will visit a rubber-plantation and see how ‘latex’ is tapped from
the trees, how to make the rubber mats, etc.
We will see fishermen bringing in their freshly catched fish to the island’s
many beaches. Stop at the small crab- & shrimp-market. Local handicraft mat-making.
Lunch(incl.) in a private, typical Southern Thai house on the island.
Rest of the day at leisure. Enjoy the beach and hopefully a nice sunset!

Day 5 :

Day at leisure on Koh Sukorn. Optional boat-trip to the nearby fantasy-ful shaped
twin-islands Koh Lao Lieng with crystal-clear waters and high cliffs, well known for their swallow-bird nests, a Chinese and very expensive delicatessen.
Or spend your day relaxing on the beach. Also possible to rent a motorcycle or mountain bike to explore the island. Traditional Thai Massage on the beach.

Day 6 :

Transfer by private car and boat back to Trang.
End of our services in Trang Town.
